Homebrew - English Cider
I had read online about a tannin trick to make cider more like real English stuff. I decided to try this out myself.
Ingredients
- 2.8 gallons of "Simply Apple" juice
- 1 lime
- 2 Tetley tea bags
- S-04 dry ale yeast
Method
- Boil 3 cups of water and the juice from the lime.
- Removed from heat and add the two tea bags.
- After waiting for 7 minutes, remove the tea bags.
- Prepare everything else while the lime tea cools.
- Combine all the things and ferment for at least 1 month.
