Wedding diet

In 2006 I lost more than 40 pounds while writing my PhD. You can read about the 'PhD writeup diet' here. In 2009 I proposed to my girlfriend and like a lot of people I set about losing some pounds before the wedding. My boss also wanted to lose some weight so we bet on who could lose the most. Each weigh-in was worth $100.

Weight graph
'W1' and 'W2' are the two weigh-in days - I got $100 both times. The wiggly blue line is the weight loss from the PhD write up diet. The straight diagonal line was how to get to 154 pounds (my standard target) before the wedding.

I never quite got to 154 but I lost 33 pounds and gained $200.
